Andrew Cousins (FCA) - andrew@stewartco.co.uk
Andrew joined the practice in 1978, progressing to senior partner in 1997. With well over thirty years in the profession, he has a wealth of experience in all areas of audit, accountancy and taxation, but more particularly in the area of tax planning. He acts for Private Clients including company directors, business owners, partnerships and high net worth individuals advising on income and capital tax strategies.

David Hartley (FCA) - david@stewartco.co.uk
Having studied for his degree at Bristol, David took articles with a London practice qualifying in 1988. Shortly afterwards he joined Stewart & Co. becoming a partner in the firm in 1992. He is a general practitioner advising both incorporated and unincorporated businesses and their owners/proprietors on all aspects of their business, accountancy and taxation affairs. David oversees the development of the firm's specialist departments and staff and looks after the IT Infrastructure of the practice. He is responsible for practice assurance on behalf of the firm.

Philip Clennell (FCA) - phil@stewartco.co.uk
Phil trained and qualified in a ‘Big 4’ firm before joining Stewart & Co. in 1994 and being made partner in 1996. Phil has been able to build upon his strong audit and assurance background to impose the highest level of quality across all disciplines undertaken by the firm. Phil is also closely involved in the recruitment and development of new trainees ensuring that the firm continues to invest in the best staff available and hence secure the ongoing professionalism of the firm.

David McCusker (FCA) - davidm@stewartco.co.uk
David qualified in 1992, and after several years post qualification experience and four years in industry joined Stewart & Co. in 1998 as audit manager, before becoming a partner. David is responsible for audit quality control. His experience in both practice and industry puts him in a privileged position to understand some of the day to day issues businesses face. His role has evolved to include a specialism in owner managed businesses covering all matters from start up through to developing exit strategies.

Gary Robinson (ACA) – gary@stewartco.co.uk
Gary joined Stewart & Co in 2004 as a graduate trainee, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007.  Gary manages our audit department, looking after all aspects of the audit process from planning to delivery. His audit Client portfolio includes National Charities and Limited Liability Partnerships. His role continues to develop to encompass general practice skills.
